This and all Warm Current camps in Washington are for the benefit of local, coastal communities. This camp is in partnership with the Quileute tribe.
We will be holding one afternoon session on Saturday the 10th. We plan on having our students in the water at 3:00 pm and out of the water at 4:00 pm. We will be assessing the conditions, weather, and tide on Saturday morning and may shift timing accordingly.
11:00 am sharp - Volunteer meeting, divvy up duties and sign volunteer waivers.
12:30 pm - 1:30 pm - Students show up, check in, sign waivers
1:30 pm – 2:00 pm – Safety meeting for all volunteers and instructors
2:00 pm - 2:30 pm - Help students into wetsuits
2:30 pm - 3:00 pm - Safety Talk, Stretch, Ocean Talk, Beach Cleanup
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Surf’s up!
4:30 pm - Surfers sign out, wrap up and clean up
