Hi! Thanks for checking out Warm Current, we’re stoked you’re here!
A few things to know:
This camp and all Warm Current camps in Washington are for the benefit of local, coastal communities. This camp is in partnership with the Makah tribe, and is limited to Makah youth unless we have extra space.
You don’t need to be a surfer to come and volunteer with us. We are happy to have your help no matter what your skill set!!
If you do want to be in the water with the kids, you must be able to swim, and be comfortable pushing kids into waves.
We have lifeguards on-site at all of our surf camps.
The official camp start time for volunteers is at 8:30 am Saturday morning, with 2 camp sessions throughout the day at or around 11am, and approximately 1pm. We are also adding a third camp on Sunday morning at 11am. Please read the signup sheet to get more details!
Kids should arrive at 10am to sign permission slips and get suited up. Both days will fill up quickly, so even if kids want to surf the afternoon session, best to show up at 10am to sign up.
We will all be camping at Hobuck Friday, June 28th and Saturday the 29th, please join us!
