The idea behind developing Warm Current Outposts is to take our traveling surf-camp programming and build more permanent community-based programs like the one we have in Neah Bay, to empower local volunteers and to provide more frequent and impactful experiences for participants.
Goals for 2018-2019
Continue to develop outposts in Washington coastal communities.
Empower regional Volunteer Ambassadors and Youth Instructors to assist in camp activities and planning.
Create a comprehensive volunteer training program to empower new leaders to provide more frequent surf camp opportunities.
